On July 2nd, 2011, The Jernigan Foundation, with the help of Diamond Technologies, Inc.,  H2O Jet and many caring volunteers, held a Benefit Concert in hopes of raising money for our friends at KMT left victim to the Joplin, Missouri Tornado.

Today we are proud to announce that we have raised a total of $7,675.00 with donations at the event, t-shirt sales, raffle tickets and online donations (which are still coming in)!!

In addition, H2O Jet generously contributed the remaining amount to reach the $10,000.00 mark at which point The Jernigan Foundation will be matching all funds raised.

After matching the total $10,000.00 raised, The Jernigan Foundation was honored to present the KMT families affected by the Joplin Tornado with a giant check for a grand total of $20,000.00!!!!

We are all amazed and humbled at the amount of generous friends, family and even strangers who contributed their time, money and musical talents in support of this cause. Just a few weeks ago this event was nothing but a small idea from a concerned individual who thought we should do something to help. Not only did that idea raise $20,000.00 to help pick up the pieces of this terrible natural disaster, but it also brought a community of people from many walks of life together for a wonderful day of music, food and fun!

We would like to again thank everyone for your  generous support for this event, as our incredible results would not have been possible with out it!!
